Dr. Maria
VETERINARIAN
Dr. Maria was born and raised in Paradise, Newfoundland and currently resides there with her family. She graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College in 2016 and received multiple awards during her four years at the AVC. Her professional interests include urgent care, internal medicine and palliative care. Dr. Maria also values client communication and in addition to providing excellent medical care to her patients, she strives to communicate effectively and compassionately with their owners. Outside of her veterinary endeavors, Dr. Maria is a dedicated wife and mother. She shares her life with her husband, Graham, and their 3 year old son, Foster. Together, they have created a loving home for their pets, including two cats named Martin and Dory, a sweet rescue dog named Frannie, and a red betta fish named Firetruck. CBS Animal Hospital is honored to welcome Dr. Maria Maria to our team. We are excited for you to meet her and witness her expertise, compassion and exceptional care.

Dory is one of my cats that I adopted while I was living in PEI. I was homesick for Newfoundland and the name reminded me of a fishing boat!Â
