Dr. Ellison received her Bachelor of Science (honours) and a Masters in animal behaviour/welfare from the University of Guelph and went on to complete her Veterinary degree at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Scotland, graduating in 2013.

She has a special interest in companion animal behaviour and preventative care, as well as a love for working with small mammals and exotic species. The R(D)SVS has an extensive exotics teaching facility and she was fortunate to have this available during her Veterinary training.

With a love for learning Dr. Ellison is always researching new information, medication and treatment options for her patients. In her spare time she can often be found with her husband and their two wonderful children. Dr. Ellison also participates in a local pottery studio and enjoys horseback riding. We are thrilled to be able to see exotic patients and Dr. Ellison is taking new patients!
