The resident kitty queen of the clinic, you can always find our lead CSR, Kristen, wherever there’s a cat in need of cuddling around the hospital! Originally from Upper Island Cove, Newfoundland, Kris is a huge fan of all things pastel and cute! She shares her happy home with her three sweet cats: Westley, who is her favorite child (don’t tell the others), Emre, who is wonderfully orange, and Elliot who… does his best. If you’re bringing your feline friends to the clinic, make sure to say hi to Kris! And be prepared to talk about cats. A lot.

What's your favorite animal and why?

Cats – these apex predators chose to domesticate themselves thousands of years ago, and we’re still going along with it (because they’re so cute!).
What's your pet's name and why did you choose it?

I have too many pets to go into detail, but most are named after video game or movie characters!
What's the most rewarding aspect of your job?

Getting to see our clinic cat, Gloria, every single day!

What advice would you give to pet owners to ensure their pets lead healthy lives?

One piece of advice a lot of cat owners may not know, is that cats don’t like for their water source to be next to their food source! They also do best with multiple water sources throughout the home.
